$10k Scholarship…We have a winner!!

Based on all your comments and forum posts, the suspense must have been killing you.  But the wait is over!  Myself, Point Guard and the rest of the Scholarshippoints team would like to lend a huge congratulations to Victoria, a Biology and Anthropology major at George Washington University (aka a smartypants).

Picking the $10K scholarship winner is always an exciting day around the Scholarshippoints office and it’s sure rewarding when our $10K winner bursts into happy ‘Are you kidding me’ tears (sorry Victoria, if anyone told you we weren’t going to tell anyone, they lied).  We wish Victoria the very best going forward and hope we were able to lend a hand in her pursuits.

BUT SHE ALMOST MISSED OUT!  We’ve had folks win free scholarships before and wound up forfeiting their winnings because they didn’t respond to our calls and e-mails on time.  So please please please make sure your contact information on your profile is up to date, and be sure to add “members@scholarshippoints.com” to your safe or white list on your e-mail accounts so we don’t get logged away in the spam folder.  Save the junk folder for junk, not scholarships!

So with October’s $10k Scholarship officially in the books, what’s left for ScholarshipPoints members you ask?  Well, besides our usual monthly scholarships and ZoomPanel Monthly Scholarship, we have

This one couldn’t come at a better time.  Holiday shopping usually pops up out of nowhere and annihilates my monthly budget, but this year, I’m keeping a savings diary with some other scholarshippoints members.  We’ll all be providing tips for saving your money on a regular basis (and some points codes may find their way in the diaries here and there..)
