If i win a scholarship then i will be d hapiest person on earth cos my life has been changed
If I won the 50,000 $ scholarship, I would put it towards my bachelors, masters and PhD in genetics and whatever may be left over I would use to help support my family for all theyve done for em
I would pay off my student loan and pay for all of my college education and buy a new, reliable car
If I win the $50,000 scholarship I will like to study abroad and go to Ecuador to advance my education. Also, this will allow me to see my family which I have seen in two years. Wining the 50,000 scholarship I will be gift I will ever receive. This will be a way to pay my parents the education that they are giving me.
If I win a 50K scholarship, I would first pay back my 2000 dollar loan, then cover the fees that financial aid can’t and last, but not least buy a car.
This would be awesome for medical school. I’m currently at UIC and plan to get into med. school there. Psychiatry here I come!
If I was to win 50,000 right now I would accept my offer to attend Barry University but with the amount of money I would be getting from financial aid and grants I would not even need the full $50,000 only about $25,000. With that extra money I would just recycle that money back and start a giving back scholarship for another individual to get that money. Just being fortunate enough to win that money would put that “giving” spirit in my heart. Just the opportunity to receive something like this puts a smile on my face.
My educational goals are to obtain a 3.0+ GPA so that I may receive a four year nursing degree at Florida Gulf Coast University. This requires me to have excellent grades in Anatomy I and II, Biology, Microbiology and Chemistry courses so I can get accepted into the nursing program at the university. After I get my bachelor’s degree, I plan to study for my GRE so I can get accepted into the Master of Science Nursing program at Florida Gulf Coast University. As I get my degrees, I want to intern at Lee Memorial Hospital so I can put my practice to use in real life situations. My lifelong dream is to become a nurse practitioner because I feel like I have strong communication skills and after I receive extensive teaching from the nurse educators at Florida Gulf Coast University, I will feel very confident that my patient will get the best care. I have volunteered at Manatee Memorial Hospital which is a nearby hospital where my mother was employed during my high school years. This was where I fell in love with the nursing profession. As I was volunteering at the local hospital, I have learned the value of teamwork and communication to become a good nurse and the duties that is required of the nurses.
If I had a $50,000 I wouldn’t have to worry about paying for school for years. I’m the first of my siblings to go to college.
Winning the $50,000 scholarship will definitely help me pay through college and help lighten the burden of my parents having to help me pay through it. Not only that, but I am also planning to study abroad to China as well, so the money could come in handy that way too.
It has always been my dream to go to school to earn a law degree however I have never been able to afford law school. If I were to win a scholarship of this size, I would go to law school. I have been looking at Stetson University in Florida.
i would use it for my college expenses including tuition fees
if i won a 50 000 scholarship i would use it all for my college tuition and accomodation and any other expenses
If i have $50,000 i will be going to school and continue my studies..i am a education student before but because luck of financial support i stop because its very hard to earn money because of the situation even me had no choice..my dream is to help people increase there knowledge in education by teaching them well in my own capabilities..for me who living in the urban life, fighting for the poverty the world is facing the money $50,000 is a dream come true for me..
i will use it for my master in oil and gas engineering programme
If I were to win the $50,000 Scholarship, I would pay off my current student loan and pay for my upcoming tuition. I decided to go back to school and have to work full time and go to school full time just to stay afloat!
Fifty Thousand Dollars is a lot of money. I would use this money to pay for my tuition at Emerson College. I am enrolled to attend Emerson College in the fall, but it is a very expensive school. The reason I choose Emerson College over the other schools I have been accepted into is because Emerson College has the best atmosphere and most challenging education that I can ever want. Emerson is a top ten acting school in the country. Getting into the program was very difficult and competitive, I could not turn it down. Unfortunately, the school did not offer me any scholarship or financial aid. I will use the money from this scholarship to pay for the room, board, books, and tuition that I can not afford on my own.
If I had $50,000, I’d use it not only to better my education, but my career as well. I’m a painter and supplies can be expensive. If I had it, it would be an investment to myself. Once I’m able to afford the supplies I need, I can finally put my creative thoughts out on canvas for everyone to see. I’m a first-time painter, but I have the mind of a older, wiser artist, who has seen the world and all its beauty. That $50,000 would take me to higher ground of art and beyond.
If I won $50,000, I would use it to aid me in paying for my education. I am a nursing student, and I would love the financial assistance of this scholarship!
Wow, I’m trying hard to find money to continue my education. It’s difficult even with these websites.
I am 47 years old a mother and grandmother. I am currently enrolled in college pursuing a degree in Christian Ministry. If I won $50,000, I would payoff current student loans and pursue my Master’s Degree in Christian Ministry. My desire to further my education is to help to encourage my grandsons to seek higher education as well.
I’d pay for both undergraduae and graduate school.
I would be proud and very grateful to receive 50,000 toward my college tuition and books at Lindenwood University. Winning this scholarship will open the door of oppportunity to have my degree financed with this scholarship. I will have no worries of getting further in debt with student loans. As a survivor of domestic violence, I feel that I deserve this opportunity.
Like Ms. Catherine, I too, am a single mother and I want to go to nursing school as well. Right now, I am taking classes that do not interfere with my full time job. If i had a 50,000 scholarship. That would definitely take away the stress of finances while being in school. I want badly to go back to graduate with my degree in Nursing. For the moment, I take classes that will not interfere with my full time job. My job is on contract so one day I will be jobless. Where I am from, jobs are very scarce. I am blessed to have my job but it is not enough for my daughter and me. I know if I had a scholarship to go to school for nursing I WOULD BE HOME FREE! I want the best for my daughter and I will not be able to do that in the strain that I am in. Voluntarily leaving my job for school will leave me pennyless. So enrolling in the nursing program would not be a good idea for me but a scholarship would very well get me on the way to my dream quicker.
If I won that amount of money I would not have to worry abou tcollege for the next two years which would be helpful because I’m a single mom at 18.
I am an RN with my Bachelor’s in my fianl year of grad school. I would use the money to finish my MSN Public Health Leadership graduate degree, and any left over money I would use to get a post graduate certification.
I want to finish my grad degree so that I can begin to be a change agent, advocate and educator of the Public regardless of their socio economic status, race, gender or age. Health care disparity is an area in health care that I want to alleviate.
I would use it to pay the tuition to my dream school so I can start giving back to society as a high school teacher!
awesome
If I won this award I would definitely apply it to my ridiculous loans. As a senior needing to go for another year of school tuition is always piling up on me along with my work. A civil engineer major such as myself also has to pay for the expensive books too. It’s stressful!
If i had 50,000 dollars, oh boy, I would go nuts! Well everyone is s aying pay for college because it is a college site but really come on! Everyone will of course spend some of it on college and the rest on something else they would want! If I had 50 thousand i would use a lot for college and then buy a car to travel home to see my parents while im in college.
With $50,000 I would go to aviation school to fly commercial airplanes.
I am a struggling newly married student. I have many dreams and one of them is creating scholarships for other people like yourselves when I reach my dream job and make quite a bit of money. With all my goals I have accumulated debts in school and if I were to get the 50,000 I would pay my student loans and the rest of school and give back to communities with my English degree by creating scholarships to help others who are trying to reach their goals and need a hand up. I would be so grateful and give back. Thank you.
There are many people in need of adequate health care. Because of the dramatic rise in population, especially with many retired baby boomers, they will need medical assistance in their future. I want to be able to use the $50,000 to become a Registered Nurse and to bridge into a Nurse Practitioner and make sure every person, especially elder, receives the best health/medical care without leaving their home out of inconvenience. With the Health Care Reform on its way, not only they will all receive health care coverage, but they will be taken care of as well.
If i won the scholarship, it would give ease of mind about college. I won’t have to worry about paying for much because this scholarship would help out trmendously. So therefore i can focus more on providing for my little ones.
With $50,000 in my account i will continue my Education and also assist my younger ones and the less priviledged
I WOULD PAY FOR MY FULL TUITION FOR ALL 4 YEARS
Well, I went to Ireland in June of last year after graduating from college. And I want to go back, really bad! I’m an agriculture and extension education major at my school and would really LOVE to get into internation agriculture and economins. If I won 50,000 dollars I would put it toward studying abroad in Ireland to help get my foot in the door. The program that I want to do cost upward of 35,000 dollars due to the agriculture program that I want to get into, but I just simply can’t afford that. A 50,000 dollar scholarship would help me get my foot in the door, so to speak.
If i were to have $50,000 i would definitivey do several things with that mone. First,i would help my family. I would help my mom trying to provide stuff she might need at home. Second, i woul pay my education at college. I am high school senor, im aout to get into college and i need financial aid. My mom brought us to this country 3 years ago to have a better life. If i had that money i would like to pay her back all she sacraficed for us. it would definitively help me on my education and personal life. It is a dream i want to accomplished.
If I won a scholarship it would help me a lot because I am going for my Masters and maybe even going for my Ph.D in Psychology to work in places where people are at risk in life but I don’t have the money to go to school for that long. I am going for my masters but Ph.D is a dream too far away right now since grad school is expensive and not much financial aid is given.
I would certainly give glory and honor to God Almighty through His son Jesus The Christ. I would not have to worry about how I would pay for for grad school. This would mean that I would not have to take out another loan which would be on the one I already owe. I would also give some of this money to my mother who really deserves it.
I enrolled in school in October 2010 at the age of 51 because I never got my college degree, and I know it is important. I went to work at an early age (15), married my current husband in 1994, and have basically been at home ever since raising our two children.
I have had a few part time jobs while raising my kids, the latest being a special education assistant at a local elementary school. I decided i was time for me to get into more of a career position, however when I attempted to join the work force I learned how difficult it was, especially in this economy and without a degree. That, plus my husband’s encouragement, led me to my current degree program.
I am working toward my Bachelor’s in Business Administration with a focus on Health Services Management. If I receive a $50,000 scholarship, I will be able to continue working toward my degree without the stress and worry of having a bigger debt when I graduate.
If I won a $50,000 scholarship I’d pay for graduate school.
When I win a $50,000 dollar scholarship, I am going to pay my tuition, my grade point average will be a 4 for every year the scholarship pays. I will honor the people with everything I have, even the people that blessed me with such a scholarship. I will be a proven eligible recipient; I will be the leader that gives all that I learn freely at the capacity it was given. I will gain all that I can with the help that you all provide. Thank You So Much!
I may not win, but I feel like I have already! I thank God! I love what you all are doing! I’m one of those who has never had anything except clothes, I thank God for you all.
Oh gosh, If I were to win the $50,000 scholorship I would pay on my already mounting student loans and then if there is any left over, I would apply the rest to future educational plans. If I did not have to worry about adding more of a financial stress to my family I would continue with my education and pursue my Masters in heathcare and then go on to obtain my doctorate. Being a single income family and a stay at home to our young daughter, the heavy stress of debt that keeps piling up sure is on my mind every minute of the day, it would sure be nice to alleviate all that extra stress and be able to concentrate on enjoying my educational journey!
I would pay for the rest of my associates, bachelor’s and later law school degrees. i’d transfer from SPC to a University.
Hi,
If I had won a $50,000 scholarship, there would be endless possibilities as to what I would do with this cash earnings. Whereas, monies are tight, I would rush to my major college, and put it towards my Biomed degree. Life is excruciating, what with affording the high cost of tuition, books, etc. And not to count the ever high cost of living taxes, including food, rent, utilities, health insurance, etc. These monies would sure come in handy. Interesting enough, we also seem to issues overseas located at such global nations as Libya, as well as Syria, concerning debt burden economies in affording exorbitantly high taxes on well needed oil prices.
Thanks!
Thanks!
If I won $50,000 scholarship, then it would help me pay for my tuition, room & board, and books at Dominican University of California to help me to pursue to become a pediatrician for the near future.
If I had the opportunity to win the $50,000 scholarship, it would be a dream come true. I always say that, but for me is really is. Ever since my father became sick it’s been hard finding money to support ourselves, but by winning this scholarship I would be able to pay off school, pay for books, and save up money to buy myself a car. This scholarship would also mean less stress on me and my family. Going to college and finishing with a degree is my number one goal, and by winning this scholarship, it would be fulfilling that goal of mine.
If I get this scholarship I would have taken the mountain load of stress my parents are under trying to send me and my twin sister to college while running a struggling business.
I deserve this scholarship. I may not have the best GPA, I may not be the brightest or the greatest student ever. But, I am the most driven. I work incredibly hard every day in order to try and keep my grades as high as possible. I am an English Major, which is hard. I came from a high school where they didn’t really teach grammar and have had to work twice as hard to catch up with the people here at my private catholic school. I am in tons of clubs and am executive board on 4 different ones next year including being the new president of GSA. I have so many ideas for them that I would love to do. I am involved in Campus Ministry here even though I am Jewish and am working to promote interfaith relations at a school that is not always the most friendly to outsiders. I want this scholarship so I can continue my education so that I may continue others. I want to be an elementary school teacher and help other children learn and become motivated in learning. And most importantly I want this scholarship not for me, but for my family. My father works so hard to provide for me so that I can go to college.I would love to be able to tell him he wouldn’t have to work days and nights to pay for my tuition. I would love to be able to tell him it will be ok, we don’t have to freak out every time my tuition bill comes in. I would love to be able to tell him it’s ok. Please help me do that.
