Okay, if I would have 50,000 dollars for all my education
I would be so happy because I wouldn’t have to ask my parents for help, I wouldn’t put a burden on them for having to pay for my and twin sister’s education.
If I won this scholarship, I would use the money to become the first Doctor in my family. As the daughter of a single parent, money has always been a problem but I know this scholarship could be all the difference to make my dreams come true.
If I won this money – first I would pay for the remaining nursing education I have left (2 more semesters). This passion of nursing is oozing out of every pore of my body. I cannot wait to go on to become a Critical Care Nurse Practitioner and treat patients in the Emergency Room and in the ICU. The money would also pay for my future Doctorate in Nursing (NP) and would love to contribute to my stepson’s dream of becoming a ballet dancer and my husband’s dream of renovating houses – both of those cannot be paid for at the present time. I want everyone to achieve their dreams and be so passionate about what they do!!!
Wow! 50K? If I won that much money, I would use some of it. But I would put at least half of it in a savings account for my younger sister’s college fund. Since my mom is disabled, cannot work and is in a wheelchair, this would be the greatest thing that could happen for both myself and my family. I have great pride in helping others. I volunteer quite a lot and there is nothing greater than winning that much money and helping a younger sibling. Well…except for graduating college in my chosen field and helping others!
I wouldn’t just pay for my college bills. I would save some for my children and other family members.
If i had a $50,000 scholarship, i owuld have a chance to go to my dream school, The Savannah College of Art and Design, to become a performing arts major. It would mean the world to me if i recieved this scholarship, because all i’ve ever dreamed about doing is being an actress, my whole entire life.
My parents have made many sacrifices just to give me the chance to study in United State. Their hopes that someday I will grow up and can take care of myself have become one of my long-term goals that I promise to achieve. My parents already knew my desire to become an engineer since I was a kid, that’s why they always encourage me to follow my passion no matter whatever happens. To contribute my life to help create a peaceful modern world through the engineering field is the dream I have most always wanted. My passion in engineering will give me the chance to challenge my ability to its best. As an international student, I’m not allowed to work outside campus. My income, include the salary from lab aide job and the support from my family in Vietnam, is very limited. Because I will graduate from LCCC at the end of 2011, therefore, applying to a good school with an affordable tuition is my primary concern. With this 50,000 scholarship, I can be able to attend to a great university such as Toledo or MIT…Moreover, this scholarship will also help me to achive my dream so that I can bring my passion into the real world in order to make our world better with a brighter future.
If any one has actually won this money, then people wouldn’t still be posting on this.
In all honesty it’s not a matter of what I would do with the money, but instead the fact as to HOW I could better my chance with winning this money. Only then would I truly appreciate the value of it.
As to how I would use the money, would be on a variety of things such as; school as priority one, then I would apply my business minor and invest it.
I would be over joyed to the point where i would cry because its such a blessing to have something like that happen to me. I dont have many good things happen to me and the opportunity to continue my education as an artist with as minimal amount of debt as possible is something beyond my wildest dreams!
If I got 50,000 I would use I would pay off the rest of my college experience even going maybe another year or two if I feel it would be worth it and it would save me a lot of money in starting my own business by not having to pay all the expenses for college.
Attending school and working full-time, providing for my family of five, I was able to receive my Bachelor’s Degree in 2007. Im now looking forward to pursuing my Masters in Business Administration. I would apply the 50K to my current student loans and future graduate costs. My children have witnessed the postive impact continuing education caused and I feel it is important for them to see me finish my schooling, so they can pursue it as well. Im ready to gain more knowledge and experience with great confidence that I will excel in my career and give back to the community within an organization. “Knowledge is power”, as the saying goes along with ambition to thrive toward more workforce experience as a team member or team leader. I value education and I am willing to show anyone, it can be done.
I am returning to school in a difficult job market with several previous difficulties in educational opportunities that went awry (my husband attended a flight school that went bankrupt with over $30,000 of student loan money that was not used towards his education.) I am working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, with the eventual goal of becoming a Obstetric Nurse and/or Midwife. I would use the money to pay down current student loans, and help fund school obligations. I need a skill that is transferrable regardless of the community we choose to live in.
If I got the $50,000 dollar scholarship I would probably cry with joy first. I would definitely use it to pay my way through school. It would alleviate stress for my parents who are currently helping to support me. My mother recently was laid off and my dad is in an industry that the corporation keeps on trying to eliminate. They are so stressed about their lives, my grandfather (who is now moving in with them due to a deteriorating mental problem), and me that it would be a blessing to have the money so that they would no longer have to stress about me.
I would use that money to make sure that I have no debt when I graduate with a nuclear engineering degree with a minor of math. I have centered my life and school around what I can afford rather than what I really want so that I could save money and reduce debt. It would be amazing if I didn’t have to worry about that money anymore.
I learned early in life that there are no freebies and that you have to work for everything in life. But, just this once, I would like to have such a wonderful gift given to me so that I don’t have to stress and worry so much.
If I win the $50,000 scholarship that would go towards my student loans.
I would use the money for my student loans.
If i were to receive a $50,000 Scholarship i would use it to help my family and for my school so that i can cover everything i need to study free. I would also use a certain amount and use it as a savings Bonds to increase more money not only would it be extra but i would have more if i were to let it sit for a year in the bank that would increase my chances of money to fall back on for anything that i could possibly need it for.
I hope you get the scholarship!
If I were to win a 50,000 dollar scholarship I would get my bachelors in Culinary Arts with a concentration in nutrition. I am currently working on my associates, but would love to continue my education of food and especially nutrition to further help today’s society with bad eating habits.
If I got a $50,000 I would persue my dream to go the University of Arizona to major in Performing Arts. This would help a lot!
If i get the money i would put it to the money that i owe right know for college and i would have the res go towards the rest of my college loans. then after i graduated and had money left i would put it in a savings for my two kids to go to college.
If i had $50,000 i would be soo appreiciative. There are so many people that don’t have the opportunity to finish their education or to even start it. I think being the fact if I were granted with this chance win the survey sweepstakes i would continue my education at Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana as a Marketing Major and Minor in Music. I would then go on and promote this website to youth and individuals who would love to pursue their dream of recieving an education.
If I won a $50,000 scholarship, I would use it to go to a big, christian university and get my bachelors degree in Chemical Dependency to be a social worker/counselor for those who are addicted to drugs or alcohol and help mend families that were broken by this habit.
I am back in school right now, as many of you I am also a single mother of 4 and above other complications I am doing what I;ve always wanted to do… Help others by helping myself. I want to continue my education towards a Bachelors degree, and this scholarship will pay for it, and part of my present A.S. in Criminal Justice.
It would be so awesome to pay off my whole tuition and have no debt once I graduate. That would be an accomplishment for our family as my brother and sisters have so much education debt and it will be a long time before they see the light at end of the tunnel.
I would be so blessed to get this 50,000 to help pursue my education in Exercise science and sports psychology, so that I can help student Athletes with their life dreams.
If I win such a huge scholarship, I will scream. It will make things extremely easy for me to study. I will be fully committed to education.
There are things in life, that when they happen, it changes people. I’m not sure if how I answer this will be correct; all I know is that with the money, I could create the things I love to write. My mother,Brenda had a brain aneurism rupture a few years back. Sitting there, hearing the doctors tell my family that we needed to say our goodbyes before she passed was hard and It made me realize that I need to accomplish the things I want before the chance slips away. My mother was very lucky and she pulled through almost unscathed from the experience, minus her balance. It happened in a way that really woke and shook the very foundation of my family. It brought everyone together and showed a few of my family that life is too short to stay mad, leaving only the breaking touch of words and hugs. I won’t lie and tell you I know what I want to do for the rest of my life. I don’t fully understand where I want to go, I just know that what I want is to reach a degree in English, psychology, and accounting. I love to write, i like psychology and so the idea of teaching is an encouraging route. This is why i take the stance of not knowing where I want to go.I don’t know if I will reach all three, but I do know that I will have at least two out of the three with or without a scholarship. The only difference is the time it takes to save the money and reach my goals. This is where the point of writing this comes out. I know that with your help, my goals and dreams will advance in the direction I need and keep my direction together as I continue on.
I will definetly use it for funding my music course
I am a school teacher working on a masters in educational leadership. If I were to win $50,000, I could pay for the rest of my graduate school expenses and pay off my student loans. This would truly be a blessing because my daughter will be starting college in 2012. So, here we go again.
