Scholarship Idol: How to Promote your Video to make the Top Ten!
Videos entries are only accepted until September 5, 2008! The top ten videos with the most views on YouTube will be placed on ScholarshipPoints.com for members to vote on their favorite entry. Do you want to be in the top ten? Then promote your video! We have a few suggestions for you which will hopefully stack up your YouTube views!
*Before continuing, remember that each view represents the completion of a full version of the video. In other words, the full length of the video must play out to count for one view.
- Add your video to your MySpace profile
- Go to view your video on YouTube, and click on the MySpace icon under Share. Choose where you want your video to appear, and then click ‘Post It!’
- Add your video to your Facebook profile
– Go to view your video on YouTube, and click on the Facebook icon under Share. Log in and add your video! Send out your video’s YouTube URL to all of your friends, family and email contacts
- Bring the URL into work, and have your coworkers watch
- If you will be in school in August, then have your classmates view you
- Get your friends and family to spread the word!
- Have them post your video on their MySpace and Facebook pages. Share it with their friends, coworkers, and email contacts
