11.04.08 | October $10,000 College Scholarship Update
Hey Gang. Point Guard here. We’ve got all our money pooled together to pony up the $10,000 college scholarship prize. We also held the drawing and we’re trying to contact the winner.
Good news for you potentially. Her cell number doesn’t seem to be working and she hasn’t responded to our emails. She has 7 days to get back to us or we award the scholarship to the runner up.
To make it fun we’re going to record the call and video Lee, our friend who is going to answer the phone. I’m using a Flip Cam just like the ones we gave out to the Video Idol finalists.
Hey by the way, do you all want us to do another Video Idol contest? If so we can start it in December and give you several months to work on it. Maybe Adrian can give us all some video tips.

PS: For those who wanted a hint, the winner is female and goes to George Washington University. We have not heard back yet however. One day gone, 6 more to go.

Awwwwwww – "winner is a female" knocks me out of the running, regardless of the college. Oh well! Congrats to the winner (assuming SHE replies in time). It really would be a bummer for the winner if she misses out on this generous scholarship due to a non-reply, especially considering many of us having been holding our breath waiting on this drawing and praying it was us! Good luck to everyone in future drawings.

It would be nice to know a hint or two about the runner(s) up. I had over 900 entries in this scholarship, I know everyone wants it, but I'm hoping my luck helps me out this time. What are my odds with that many entries?

Yes, folks. We have a winner. We're waiting on her to get us some information and then we'll have a big announcement, so stay tuned!
