Its hard to keep doing this when someone who goes to a community college won 10k and those of us who really need it (going to a big expense 4year university) didnt get it. . . i guess i am a sore loser but lets just say we all know all that money that kid just won wont be going to tuition costs…

This is just like the lottery, if you don't buy a ticket, and never participate, then you will never win the big prize. Keep up the good work and I hope to hear from more winners next time…maybe mine too.

Just because the winner is from a community college doesnt mean he or she doesnt deserve or need the money. I go to community college as of now to get my pre-requisits. If you really can’t afford going to a 4-year college maybe you shouldn’t be there. You have no idea what the winner plans on doing with the money so no one has any right to say they are discouraged or that just because you are going to a 4-year you need it more than others. You are in college now, so that means its time to grow up and and learn that life is not going to go exactly as planned.
wow people complaining because they have the opportunity to goto a state college i'd be happy with that us at the city college have to work our way to even see the inside of a state college like me only 1 and a half years to go wohoo

Saying that someone who goes to a community college doesn't need scholarships is absurd. I was at a four year college and couldn't afford it and so now I'm at a community college to try and work while going to school so I can afford going to college (and pray that I can get some scholarships to help as well of course!) But congratulations to the winners!! you deserve it!
