If I were to win this scholarship, it would greatly help me with tuition and food. I would be extremely appreciative and would work harder on my education and not have to worry about next months rent and picking up more hours for work. instead I would be able to focus on my schooling.

IF i win $3500, it will be nothing but a blessing from GOD. I plan on going to Dallas,Baptist to get a degree in Bible and Ministry and i need the money to go to Dallas, Baptist and fulfill my purpose. I know GOD does miracles everyday, so if i was to win $3500 it would be a miracle from GOD.

An additional $3500 would come in handy so much, as I am working my way through college. Just to be able to cut back a few hours from my work schedule would provide the “breathing room” to accomplish a great GPA with being able to absorb the learning as well. I am so grateful to have found a place to provide opportunities like this one (scholarshippoints.com).It gives me strength to know there are possibilities beyond the hard work and struggle to obtain my degree. Obviously, scholarshippoints.com can make a student’s dreams come true!

I am a freshmen in highschool right now and i want to be the 1st of my family to go to college. Neither of my parents graduated highschool so they obviously do not make enough money to out 4 kids through college so winning this scholarship would mean a lot to me. I am an ambitious, determined, and very goal-orentated girl and I want to get an education to be able to help the less fortunate and make a difference in peoples’ lives. I would be more than thankful if i won this scholarship. It would be really helpful to me towards achieving all of my dreams and goals.

I need this money because I am a 33 year old diabetic with out health insurance and a disabled husband trying to pay my way through school. I have no financial help from my family, as they have no money to provide. I am a first genereation college student, and my credit is shot due to medical bills in collections. I make 10.00 an hour, which is somehow considered “good money” in SD. I just want to get through college, find and a stable job with good health insurance and leave SD.

wow… this is a great oppurtunity.. of course i would love to get a scholarship like this, but it is so difficult because there are so many candidates! good luck to whomever gets this scholarship…

i’ve worked out all my life, not saying no one else did or didn’t, but if i were to get a scholarship like it, that’d be awesome.

i already have food and a roof over my head so i’m thankful, and may be a scholarship? it’s a plus!~

I would really love to win this scholarship. I am currently a Fashion Design student and we spend a lot on materials and supplies.Any student who is in the Fine Arts major will have to spend a lot of money. I have been working since I was 12 years old, saved my money, and kept a good spending budget since I have been in college. However, since my major is so expensive my money that I have saved up can’t keep up with school fees. I would be very thankful for all the help I could get, if small or large it is better than nothing! I know that there are so many people in the world that need money and that most people say the same thing in order to receive money. But I truly believe that I have worked so hard to get where I am today and would still continue working as hard as I can to get to my dream.

  12. Jamie says on February 1, 2011 at 7:27 am:

This scholarship would be great to have. I have a single mom and my sister is in college too. It is already very expensive for my college since I will be in pharmacy school later too. This would be such a blessing!

  13. Grace Minasian says on January 31, 2011 at 1:47 pm:

If I won this scholarship, for the first time in a very long time I would feel hopeful and excited about my future. I try to stay positive about paying for college, but I worry constantly. Our family depends on my father’s family business which has suffered through the recession. During the many weeks he did not receive a paycheck, my college savings were used for basic living expenses; I graduate this June with little to pay for my education. Every person responding to this question deserves support as they reach for a better future. I’m not sure why I would be chosen over anyone else, I am only sure that I would be grateful for the rest of my life, and I promise to constantly pay it forward after I finish my college education to any young person who needs help achieving their goals.

  14. Abbie Boslett says on January 31, 2011 at 12:34 pm:

I consider myself a good college student. I am hard working and truly interested in my major. Even when my course load is very difficult I know I will always be able to persevere and do good work because I have been taught to do my best in every situation. I am currently studying to be an electrical and computer engineer and since beginning my classes I have been faced with many unexpected struggles. One of the biggest of these being the fact that I am one of very few girls aspiring to earn this major and sometimes feel that I am not taken as seriously as my fellow classmates. However, this only increases my desire to succeed in these classes and demonstrate to myself and everyone else that I am worthy of receiving this degree. Although this challenge will not always be easy it is worth the effort because I know I will thrive in this field and cannot wait until I get the opportunity to prove that. However, until I am in out of school I am faced with the additional challenge of paying for my college tuition and receiving this scholarship would help immensely with this struggle.

  17. Elisa says on January 25, 2011 at 2:13 am:

Hello my name is Elisa Garcia. I was born and raised in a small town called Selma located in California’s San Joaquin Valley. My goal in life is more than just to succeed; it is to prove to the world that I can be more than what is expected of me. I say this because growing up my teachers didn’t have too much confidence in me. In elementary school year after year, they wanted to keep me back because I wasn’t “ready”. I don’t blame them. My grades were poor and I lacked the attention needed for proper learning. It wasn’t until 5th grade when my teacher, Ms. Kenny, noticed that my poor grades and lack of attention were due to not being taught and challenged the right way. After scoring well on an evaluation exam, I was placed into an Honors class. I loved the feeling of being recognized as someone who had more to offer. That is why I want to become someone in life who can prove to the world that I am “ready” for whatever life has to offer. My mom has played a huge role in influence my ways of thinking. My mom tells me whenever I doubt myself to be “the best of the best of the best”-quoted from one of my favorite movies Men In Black. I know that I can do well and reach my goals while making the world a better place along the way. Someday I will do this by becoming a forensic scientist. But in order for all this to happen i need the money and frankly i do’t wualify for much finacial aid and money is tight. please consider me for the money. Thankyou for taking the time to read this.
    -Elisa Garcia

It would be nice to win this scholarship because living in Chicago economy is harsh for a undergraduate in a university. Taxes are extremely high and work is hard to comeby when being a full time student who commute to school everyday. This scholarship would be useful to cover some costs for my education.

  25. Jessica says on September 20, 2010 at 5:02 pm:

If I were to win this scholarship it would go toward my education. My parents are divorced and my father is out of work. What I want to do with my degree is to become a music teacher. I am teaching private lessons in my home right now, and I eventually want to be able to teach at a University.

Everyone needs the $3,500 WinningSurveys scholarship to pay off student loans, to not have to work full-time for tuition, to save money for books, to focus more on school and maintain good grades – but who wouldn't want the extra money? I'm only a senior in high school, but I understand the concept of hard work and the difficulty in balancing all the responsibilities that have been handed to you. Working at the family store has taught me the burden and physical wearing of manual labor and the exhaustion one faces after a shift – and the juggling the extra curricular activities, the seasonal sports, and my academics has really taught me that ANY money will help push me further and lift the encumbrance that monetary limitations weigh. I need this money to lighten the load that I've prepared myself for – it would be that extra push that gets me further in the direction that I'm heading.

If i were to win this scholarship, I would pay off my unsubsdidize loan. I would pay off two credit cards used to pay my books for college and dedicate complete attention to my study instead of working long hours to get out of debt.

If I were to win a scholarship i would be able to go to college in ease as well as helping my parents out money wise. They already pay for my brothers college and its too much money for them to pay for me as well. Money is everything in this world, in college you need money to attend for every semester as well as books and supplies. If i didnt have to worry about money i would have more focus on my classes to get good grades. It would be a stress off and help me out so much ill would be happy as well as thankful for this chance. Hopefully the luck is on my side with god helping me. This would make me have a step closer to my goal to have a successful career.

If I were to win this scholorship, I would be able to pay back my student loan, and I would be able to afford text books. I would not have to rely on paying my mom back for the text books when

I get the chance.Getting into college was hard, but staying here will deffinately be harder even though I do not have the funds.

If I were able to win 3,5000 dollars I would be able to afford rent, be able to get my books every semester instead of borrowing someone else's stuff. Plus I would be able to focus more on becoming a nurse than worrying about the finacial debt I am putting myself in by going to school. I am going to school to be an R.N. I was a premature baby of 1 lb 12 oz, I have a moderate to severe hearing problem, this would pay for my hearing aids too. I would be truely greatful.

I just want to go back to school and prove to myself and eveyone else that I am capable of doing as well in college as I did in high school and maybe even better.

As a senior in high school, I see my life after high school and college draw ever closer each day. It might be surreal, but it is a reality that must be faced. Fortunately, for me, the question as to what I want to do with my life has been answered for quite some time now. That answer, I have discovered, through various people, classes, and experiences, is art. Art is what I love, and I see it wherever I go in everything and everyone I come into contact with. I have come to look at the world as a wonderful place full of inspiration, just waiting to be found. It would be my dream to find that inspiration, each and every day, and make it as visible as possible. By studying Graphic Design at the college I have been accepted to and a lot of through hard work, this is exactly what I plan to achieve.

If i were to win this scholarship, it would help my family and me.My mom is a college student herself, and I am going to be in less then a year. I have a younger brother that I am in charge of taking care of while,my my mom goes to school and my step dad goes to work. We can't afford a babysitter, which makes it automatically my responsiblity. I do not have a high enough education or have any work experience. This makes it really hard on my family, because I cannot help bring in money. When I start college, my mom will still be in college, which will be very difficult on the family. My mom is trying to work part-time and go to school full-time. Things just feel like they won't get any better. Thats why I hope, that I will receive this scholarship. I would be so delighted, it wouldn't only be helping me, but my family as well.

If I were to win this scholarship it would be take so much stress off of me. I have to pay for my own out of state tuition and it is very expensive. I work full time and I barely have enough money to pay the school every semester. If I were to win this scholarship it would be a life changing event for me. I would be able to focus more on school and I would be able to maintain good grades so much easier due to less working. I would be so thankful.
