11.18.09 | Scholarships For Everyone
If you are reading this I am sure you are on the prowl for money for college. This is not an easy task and I am sure at times you probably feel like you are not eligible for any of the scholarships you come across. Well I am here to tell you about a few scholarships that should be on every student’s radar screen.
The first is the Comcast Leaders and Achievers Scholarship. This scholarship recognizes students who exemplify change in their community and who serve as role models for their fellow students. Each recipient is awarded a one-time $1,000 grant to be used for higher education.
The second is Olive Garden’s Essay Writing Contest. The theme of the contest this year is “Teachers Who Inspireâ€. To enter you should write an essay describing a teacher who has inspired you in school and how they have impacted your life. Not only will the winner receive at $2,500 scholarship, but also a trip to New York City and dinner at the Olive Garden in Times Square!

I believe “Scholarships For Everyone” is a great idea, but some student waste the money beacuse of poor academy
