01.11.12 | Help us build a brand new scholarship search website!
We are currently in the process of building an amazing new scholarship search website. To make this website the best resource it can be for students, we are looking for ScholarshipPoints member to build scholarship lists that we will use on the site. If you want to contribute to this endeavour while doing scholarship research, helping fellow students, and earning points, then this is a great opportunity for you!
Here is how to submit a scholarship list and earn points:
Step 1: Choose one of the following topics and find 10 to 12 scholarships that fit into that category. Ideally, the category will apply to you so that you can use scholarships you have already found or research you have already done:
- Scholarships for women
- Left handed scholarships
- Scholarships for single mothers
- No essay scholarships
- Full ride scholarships
- International scholarships
- LGBT scholarships
- Scholarships for first generation college students
- Scholarships for vegetarians
- Scholarships for animal lovers
- Scholarships for black women
You can also submit your own topic if you have something that is not on this list!
Step 2: Write a 100 – 250 word paragraph describing your list of scholarships, what the topic means to you, who the scholarships would be good for, and why you chose them.
Step 3: Gather up the names and links to all the scholarships you find from step 1, your paragraph about the scholarships from step 2, and a picture of yourself that we can use on the website, and send them to members@scholarshippoints.com.
Once you send your list, paragraph and picture we will ask you to submit a “contest consent form” giving us the permission to use everything you submit on our brand new site. When you return the release you will earn 100 points 250 points!
If your list is chosen to be featured on the website you will receive an additional 100 points 500 points!!! To increase your chances of being chosen make sure the scholarships you submit are relevant to the topic you choose, are from trustworthy sources, and helpful to other students.
Good luck and happy searching!
