Why I joined ScholarshipPoints
Today we have the first post in the Campus Point Person guest blogger series. Today’s post is coming to you from Martha Rodriguez, the Campus Point Person for Ridgefield Park High School. She will be talking about why she joined ScholarshipPoints and why she loves it!
A scholarship is an award of access to an institution. Some scholarships are need based and others are merit based. Merit based are dependent on your grades, while need based are dependent on your financial need. Not everyone is eligible and requirements for receiving a scholarship vary. Regular scholarships are usually boring and they all require the same things: transcripts, letters of recommendation, SAT’s and essays. One of the reasons why I joined ScholarshipsPoints.com is because there is no requirement for participation; everyone is more than welcome to sign in and participate in any scholarship of their choice. It’s fun and easy; all you have to do is login everyday, earn as many points as you can and the more points you have the higher chances of winning. How can you earn points? Well, it’s simple, all you really need to do is read the blog posts and register for survey websites. Also the ScholarshipPoints team members will help us out by posting bonus codes on Facebook and Twitter. I love it because we are actually getting help from them and it shows that they care about our future. Not only do you have the opportunity to win scholarships, but you also gain beneficial information on financial aid, student loans and college search. It’s a great website that I recommend to all students out there looking for an opportunity. You will not regret being a part of this website.
