06.29.10 | New Scholarships Alert!
Hi all! Hope everyone is keeping cool in the heat of summer. As you’re enjoying your air conditioned room, why not take some time to search for scholarships? Here are a few to get you started.
The first scholarship I want to tell you about is for Early Childhood Education professionals. The Early Childhood Educators Scholarship Program was designed to provide financial assistance to currently employed early childhood teachers who enroll in an associate or bachelor degree program in Early Childhood Education or related fields.
The second scholarship I have today is for residents of Maine. The George J. Mitchell Scholarship was created to expand and improve opportunities for the education of young people in Maine, primarily at higher education institutions within the state. The best part about this scholarship is that it is awarded to a graduating senior from every public high school in Maine.
The final scholarship is the Math and Science Teachers Scholarship Program for Massachusetts public school teachers. This scholarship provides financial assistance for coursework leading to the initial educator license in a Mathematics or Science field for teachers who are currently employed in Massachusetts public schools and teaching Mathematics or Science courses.
That is all for today. Don’t forget that you still have a few more days to earn scholarship points and enter this month’s scholarship drawings. There is $8,000 in scholarship money available! This includes the seven sponsored scholarships and the June $1,000 Free College Scholarship. The winners will be posted on July 1st!
