03.25.10 | New Scholarships Alert
Hi everyone! I just wanted to take a few minutes to tell you about a few new scholarships I have come across recently.
The first scholarship is from the FRA which is the leading voice of enlisted Sea Service personnel on Capitol Hill. The FRA Scholarship Program is proud to support America’s future leaders by awarding more than $100,000 annually in scholarships to deserving students. Winners are selected based on financial need, academic standing, character and leadership qualities.
Another scholarship that I came across this week is the Paul Goodman Essay Contest. The Paul Goodman Essay Contest is brought to you by Dissent Magazine and JSL Films. The contest aims to introduce Paul Goodman – a beacon of the 1960s progressive student movement and an influential social critic and thinker – to today’s young minds. The winner of this scholarship contest receives a $1,000 scholarship as well as publication in Dissent Magazine.
The final scholarship I have to tell you about this week is the Holocaust Remembrance Project. The Holocaust Remembrance Project is a national essay contest for high school students designed to encourage and promote the study of the Holocaust. Scholarships are awarded to the top winning essayists, ranging from $5,000 to $2,500. Second and third place winners receive cash prizes of $500 and $250.
That is all for this week! Do not forget that the March $1,000 Free College Scholarship Drawing is only a week away so get all of your scholarship points into the hat by March 31 at midnight!

It is only Tuesday, but at least I have some great scholarships to tell you about! All of these scholarships have upcoming deadlines so if you think you might qualify start applying as soon as possible.
