Here Are the Details
We’re giving 100 Scholarship Points to any member who writes a review of the ScholarshipPoints program. We want honest reviews so if there are things we can improve upon, include them in your review. The rules are simple…
Your review must be 200 words or more.
You must include at least one direct link to ScholarshipPoints.com.
Your blog must not contain excessive profanity or be deemed offensive in any way (our call).
You must publish your review to your blog by March 17, 2009.
Once you have published your review, email winscholarships@scholarshippoints.com with the subject “Blogging for Dollars” and include 1) the URL of your blog post 2) the email address associated with your ScholarshipPoints account. All points will be posted directly to your account on or shortly after the March 17 deadline. In plenty of time to load up on the $10K drawing!

So what would you say if we were proposing a new video contest? I thought Scholarship Idol was a hit last year. For those of you unaware of this hilarious video series, you can watch some of last years entrants here.
The rules were, you submitted a 60 second or less video of you doing something creative about ScholarshipPoints. Some Points members sang songs, some performed interpretive dances and some made Flash animations. There was a submission period for several weeks, and the videos with the most views on YouTube at the end of that period made it to the top 10. Submitting a video got you 125 points. Getting into the top 10 automatically got you a cool Flip Cam personal video recorder.
Those top 10 videos were then voted on by you points members (for 25 points).
We wanna do it again, that’s for sure, but we want to make the ‘09 version bigger and better than ever. We have a couple different ideas, so take this short (really short, like 3 questions short) survey for points, and we’ll use your results to determine this year’s contest!
