Salutations all!  Captain J here, your new point moderator and forum sheriff in town.  I’ll be here to serve any and all of you Scholarshippoints.com needs–so if you’ve got a question, comment, concern, or are just aimlessly surfing and want to make some idle chitchat, don’t hesitate to post below or contact us.  Just think of me as that Deal or no Deal banker guy, but a friendly version that listens to what you have to say and gives out tons of scholarshippoints and prizes and stuff.  As always, we appreciate all of your participation and keep those comments coming!

We launched a new version of the ScholarshipPoints.com website this morning at 8:00am EST. This update was a long time in coming and incorporates a lot of your feedback so please keep sending it to us.

Get Mad Points

If you find a bug, error, broken thing or typographical error, or if something is just super difficult or nonsensical please post it in the forum: http://forum.scholarshippoints.com/post355.html#p355

If you are the first one to report on a new issue or problem we will reward you with a sweet point code. If you find a really critical issue or are over the top helpful we may also send you some cool swag!

What We Updated

We worked on several areas of the site. Here is a rundown of some of the new things:

• When you log in you are now presented with “My ScholarshipPoints” which is customized for each user. Only activities you have yet to do will be there and you can access all your account info there as well.
• We now have RSS feeds for your point activities and for the scholarships so you can sign up for them and get new activities and scholarships beamed straight into your RSS reader or email client.
• You now log in on the top right of any page.
• Your points are displayed at all times on the top right of any page as well as the box used for redeeming codes. You must be logged in to see that.
• When you log in you will now have a control panel on the left to accomplish all your important stuff.

We’ll add more details later. In the meantime, beat up the site and for each error you find we’ll beat up the Professor (its probably his fault). Just don’t forget to post them in the forum for us.

The first place winner has been called and emailed. She has 7 days to get back to us or the free scholarship goes to the first runner up. The first and second runners-up get free iTunes gift cards but ONLY if they email us. We do this to make sure we are rewarding those who remember to come back and check out the site.
